DOJO
Our main teaching space, the Dojo is set back through 3 arches with its ancient Moroccan doors flanked by two golden Buddhas. It's an open, light and airy room, based on a traditional Japanese design with an Arabic twist.
Here, we’ll be gathering as a group to learn and ecstatic dance beneath an architectural lantern, decorated with Moroccan purple and gold glass that sends iridescent shards of dappled light onto its high quality, fully sprung timber floor.
The Dojo has 4 double sets of wooden and glass doors that lead out onto an upper terrace overlooking the palm treetops and the popular garden.
GARDENS
Nestled on the edge of a valley in our own 33 acres of stunning landscaped gardens and open vistas, the retreat center is secluded and magical with no light or sound pollution and a multitude of birds, tortoises and other wildlife.
Exceptional in their variety of form and color, our gardens are exciting to both explore and spend time in quiet contemplation in one of the many hidden and beautiful spaces. With specimen trees and plants from all over the world, including Australia, South America, South Africa, China and Japan, the gardens are widely talked about and admired.
Throughout the gardens you hear the sound of gentle running water, with fountains and even a small rill leading to a waterfall where the water flows into our natural pool in the Water Garden.
The orchards have an abundance of native and tropical fruits, one of which is newly planted with over 600 fruit and nut trees, including almond, peaches, guavas and figs to name but a few. There is also have an extensive variety of salads, vegetables and herbs.
POOLS
Situated in the Almerian desert and coastal region of Andalucia, Utopian Retreats is an idyllic oasis full of exotic palms, fountains and pools.
The much-loved, luxurious, black and gold swimming pool is solar heated with underwater seating in both the shallow and deep ends. At 18 meters long, it's a perfect length for both fitness and recreational swimming.
The plunge pool is on the other side of La Finca, also with underwater heating, and with steps leading into it from a quirky covered shower and relaxation area.
AMPHITHEATER
Uniquely designed to represent the sun and the moon and surrounded by high walls, the totally enclosed amphitheater is a contained and acoustically perfect space. It's picturesque with low walls for seating and mature trees for shade.
ACCOMMODATION
The living areas are beautifully designed, light and airy, with inspiration from around the world. Some rooms are inspired by Morocco, while others have been carefully carved into the rock itself.
Rooms have balconies or terraces overlooking the lush gardens, mountains or out to sea. Two students will even be lucky enough to sleep in a yurt (worth the 5-minute walk to the main teaching area!).
Because there’s a mixture of beds (from luxurious double beds to mostly twin beds, but also a few sofa beds & camp beds), we will assign beds based on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up soon to ensure you get a great spot!
Sleeping arrangements are community cozy — all rooms are shared. If you're coming with a partner or friend, please let TEAM LOVE know in your logistics form after booking.
We have exclusive use of the whole property, so we’ll be able to fully enjoy the community feel & strengthen our bond as a group.
WiFi
There is a good WiFi connection in the main living area of the retreat center, however we strongly encourage a digital detox during the training.
FOOD
The retreat center’s amazing Head Chef, Katie, is the most sought-after chef in the area and is a culinary genius.
Katie majestically transforms all of the delicious fruit and vegetables from our market garden into sensational masterpieces that are a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Katie is not only passionate about creating an exceptional menu, she does so with acute attention to detail.
All of the food is organic or sustainably sourced, much of it grown in their own market gardens. The retreat center is mainly a plant-based, however we'll serve local cheeses, organic eggs and freshly caught fish carefully selected from the fishing port in Garrucha. There are also homemade chutneys and jams, their own olive oil, and fresh fruit and vegetables.
The retreat center caters to pescatarians, vegetarians and vegans. We can support both dairy-free and gluten-free diets. If you have another diet or an allergies, please contact Dillon at [email protected] so we can discuss how best to accommodate you.

You will emerge from this training with a super powerful way of serving the world, healing yourself and earning a living helping others.
Getting There
Arrival
We recommend arriving into Alicante the day before we begin. You can take an international flight into Alicante Airport. There are also trains from Barcelona (5-6 hours) or Madrid (2.5 hours) to the Alicante Train Station.
We'll organize a 2.5-hour private bus leaving from Alicante Airport around 11:30AM on the first day of the training to the retreat center. The price will depend on the number of people who choose this option, but we anticipate it being around $45/40 euros one way.
You're also welcome to make your own way to the village of Turre, and the retreat center will organize a complimentary minibus to the property. The training begins at 2:30PM on training day 1 (updated dates to be rescheduled soon).
Departure
For the return trip home, we'll organize a private bus to the Alicante Airport that will leave the retreat center at 11AM. It should arrive at the Alicante Airport at 1:30PM on the final day of the training. Please budget around $45/40 euros if you wish to take this bus.
Alternatively, if you're making your own travel plans, the Training will end at 11AM on the final day of the training.
NOTE
Not included in the training package is the cost of accommodation in Alicante & transport to and from Alicante Airport.
